Angelo Poliziano: Letters
Editor: Shane Butler
Harvard - I Tatti Renaissance Library

This volume contains a collection of letters of 15th Century Italian humanist Angelo Poliziano. These are polished "for publication" letters - literary works, generally, more than practical correspondence. Although not a few of the letters are in the form of rather formulaic commendations and introductions (or requests for such), there is still much of interest for any student of the renaissance.
All the books in the I Tatti Renaissance Library present the the original Latin text with English translation on the facing page.
